Tall Storeys is a Grade II listed Regency townhouse which has been sensitively renovated to retain many period features. The resulting hotel offering quality bed and breakfast has acknowledged high standards and provides a delightful oasis for a relaxed and comfortable stay.
We have a secluded south facing walled garden full of colour.
All bedrooms feature either four poster or half tester beds and are all indivually and elegantly decorated to provide cosy, intimate surroundings. The bedrooms facing the south side have spectacular sea and castle views. Bedrooms have en-suite facilities and are non smoking.
The dining room, bar and conservatory on the lower ground floor provide convivial surroundings for meals and relaxation.
Vegetarian, vegan and special diets catered for. We have received many compliments for our vegetarian breakfast and catering.
Scarborough's North and South Bays are created by the promontory on which the medieval castle stands. Nestling to the south side, beneath the ruins of the castle battlements lies the charming Old Town where Tall Storeys is situated.The hotel is a couple of minutes walk from the harbour and the seafront and is in easy walking distance from the town's shopping centre.

Accommodation
Rooms are all individually, tastefully decorated with either hand made four poster or half tester beds. All have pretty Provencal bedspreads for an extra touch of luxury and style. (see photos)
Each room has colour TV, high quality courtesy tray, hair dryer and radio alarm as standard.
They each provide a warm, relaxing environment for a special stay at Tall Storeys.
Five of our bedrooms have full en-suite facilities, however the two rooms at the top of the house (which are very quaint and have the best views) have a vanity unit in the room but share a shower and toilet.
Situated on the lower ground floor is the dining room, bar and large conservatory.
The dining room is full of character, plenty of interesting pictures and delft rails crammed with antique plates.
Full Yorkshire breakfast is a feast, with plenty of home made extras.
The well stocked bar provides a convivial environment for a peaceful drink. Guests often carry drinks into the conservatory which is bright and warm and full of plants and colour at all times of the year. We are lucky enough to have a south facing garden which guests can laze in during fine weather.
On the ground floor we have a snug lounge with stuffed sofas, antique clocks, elegant furnishings, books,magazines - everything for a spot of rest and relaxation.
